Another theory is that taikis apperance is a shell in japan and that he has not really grown. For a refute to that one i offer this image.

The man in the bed is supposidly Taiki and the woman next to him Youko.

Yes, the pictures from the postcards come from the illustrations for the ...

The Japanese comany said it stopped for the moment, not forever. In the time Media Blasters gets around to release all 3 arcs and part of the first one it still has to release (and even more if they keep the bi-monthly schedule), there is more than enough time for them to do 12K last arc, 12K second ...

Reading without knowing hiragana and only knowing kanji would be something like:

"###, ## name ## #####. ##### a## ##### ##oi#####. Yesterday I ##### ### Nagoya ###."

While Kanji are the main part of many words and most verbs, all declinations, particles and other grammar are written in hiragana ...

I think Hourin looked very much like she accepted her death, and didn't fight back. Kirins aren't exactly powerless (as we can see by Taiki's zealous protector... ^^; ) and there was more than enough time for her to call her allies in protection.
I think Hourin was very much aware of her mistake and ...

If the series is 68 episodes, then there are only 23 episodes left, which fits one of the other arcs and the "big" Taiki arc (<-- that was my theory ^^; ), so they can end it with the big blast. Although...

But now, they said they would stop making any new eps after 45, because they can't integrate Yoko in the Storyline (an argument I don't get, as the Taiki-Arc survived largely without her

I don't get it either, since the main story left to animate (end of Taiki arc) features a lot of Youko. I don ...

Anyways, I doubt that the empress would have resigned if she didn't think Keiki would die.
Maybe she had a revelation or something... After all, supposedly under all that psychosis she was supposed to have the basics for a good empress. ^^;;

If it follows as last year's, expensive one (Kodansha's) has illustrations by Yamada Akihiro (illustrator for the novels, the DVD/CD covers and original character designer) and the other one has anime illustrations.

I remember that at one point in the series, that teacher-dude tells Yuka that no Kirin has ever recovered from shitsudou. But we know that Keki recovered!

Did he actually fall sick, or did the empress erm... "quit" before he actually fell sick? We are told she resigned so Keiki wouldn't die, but ...

So Taiki's second return to the JK has already been confirmed - I'm wondering if they will definitely do an anime adaptation of it.

Taiki's return to 12K land was published in 2001 (it's two novels,
like the other main arcs in this story). The story being translated in that
site is actually a ...

So don't give up ;)

Hi! I'm new here as well... and very happy to find a pretty good board for all 12K related things!

I love the anime, I love the music and I would love the novels if I could understand more than 20% of what's written. But there is hope *grabs kanji workbook again* :P
