The show has 45 episodes in Japan, excluding some of the CD adventures (that I really don't know anything about). It's been put on indefinate hold as far as I know, as the writer of the books has stopped writing. It's a shame, too. :( I think it was slated for 60 some episodes ...

That's true, but most recap episodes have a little bit of new information in them, and it would still be interesting to watch.
