i'd recommend rurouni kenshin and inuyasha. inuyasha is a bit like 12 k when it comes to a girl transported into an ancient world.

i think there are loads of people who wouldnt want the respoonsibility of ruling a kingdom. too much work, too many plots and assasination attempts on you life. besides in this story, an emperor is meant to be immortal and so its hundred years of hard work and serving the people.

I love this series because i can relate to a lot of the characters. they arent perfect people like you see in some heroic anime cartoons. the important things is realizing you mistakes and become a better person.
