The best advice that I can give is:

- uninstall Nimo, Divx, and whatever types of codecs you have installed
- get the latest version of ZoomPlayer (most of the codecs you'll need come with the program)
- install the latest version of ffdshow

I'll guarantee that you won't have any problems anymore ...

An RPG, I agree. I said pretty much the same thing in another forum not too long ago - yet I was thinking of making it a pen & paper role playing game.
