Okay, I have since found a Chinese digital translation of 'Tasogare no Kishi, Akatsuki no Sora' (the continuation of the Taiki arc), and with my rather mediocre skills, managed to wade through it.

As Shushou said, the Han emperor is male and the kirin is female. And they are a nuisance where ever ...

2005 calendars?

Does anyone know where I can order the 2005 calendar(s) for JK? It's already September, and I still don't see any calendars listed at cdjapan or PlanetAnime (my usual haunts).

As for who chopped Taikis horn (this is shown in the Novels there is no JK manga) for the people on screen it is either The Pumpkin or the Military guy who tried to capture taiki.

For the life of me, I can't remember where I read it, but the source was quite reliable. Apparently, the 'traitor ...

Being ep 45 the last one and as we all know it's a recap episode i don't think there's really a need to have it fansubbed at all, for all people (included myself) who want to have the entire thing we just have to wait for the dvd release. Things would be different if ep 45 was the starting point of ...

The last part of Taiki's arc lacked anything that could be used to further Youko's story so it was never animated (or so that's what the animators have claimed). They're lacking enough character development and many other necessary components to make the last arc as well-animated as the 45 eps that ...

I actually have both bookmark sets and the collectible card set, but I think I'm going to sell them in a bit because after cleaning up my small apartment, I decided a big poster and two incoming 12k calendars are enough. ^^; (Actually, I want the sheet music for the piano score - trade?)

So ...

He has not aged. He is just more mature because of his 500-year life. And sadly, we do not find out how he becomes a heavenly sage. He only says he is going to the yellow sea and that is the last we hear from him.

Hmmm, I thought he looked taller and slightly older in the Taiki arc, but now that ...

I think the difference is the scope. Scrapped Princess has really held my interest with strong production values and an interesting premise. GitS:SAC is an excellent action/police/tech show (I mean, it's GitS ) with an excellent budget. Last Exile is also pretty darn good.

But all of those end ...

Love couple: Kantai and Shoukei.
Ever since I watch episode 40 I feel there's a chemistry between them. A strong chemistry. They look good together.
Eventhough this is just an anime but I can feel the chemistry between them, just like I see it real life in front of me...
This show how good that ...

At first, my favorite is Youko but after watching episode 37-39, my thought was like " Wow! Kantai!" :D
He's so cool!!! XD

I agree ... Kantai is awesome! I especially like him in ep 40, where he's dressed up in full military regalia.

My favourite character is still the sweet little Taiki. I ...

wow... what a discussion...

The way i see it, if there's no Hourin ranka growing, then Hourin isn't dead (just like Taiki's case. No ranka = Taiki's still alive). That would raise questions of what exactly did Gekkei do then.

I like the view that someone mentioned previously, that the ...

As you have already said and what prompted Gekkei to take action, the Emperor was set in his way and from what we know of shitsudou, he and his kirin are doomed to death. Gekkei merely hastened the blow. So if we take out Gekkei in the equation, Hourin would have eventually died along with her ...

given his actions in ep 41, one wonders how kouya got to be a tensen

Also, is it just me, or does he seem to have aged between this and the time of the Taiki arc? In other words, would he lose his immortality (due to Atsuyu's fall) and then somehow redeem himself significantly enough that he ...
