Wow... It's coming up to two years ago when I first posted in this thread...
Welcome, fellow Youko fanboy. Don't worry too much about bumping old threads. And please feel free to create that thread. There are other posts around here that touch on those a bit, but feel free to read and reference them. I'm sure there's many, many aspects of this series that people still haven't touched on.

Hi zitch.. i read all your posts before commiting myself to register and submit my not so educated opinions

I started a thread about Youko's Journey, i want to see if we can discuss about the heroes journey, a well known literarry and myth concept... for me she is a perfect example of it.
Thanx for the welcome...
Incredible show...

I got this show and watched it all in 3-4 days.....i couldn't stop..and i am a working man.......i am at work and all i am thinking is that i will gym and other things next week....i have to see what happens next.....This is one of the best anime i have ever seen and i have seen alot. Some folks say Full Metal Alchemist was geared towards kids but i think its the only other show that i have watched that came close to how this show made me feel. WoW. I am .....i am....loss for words....*sigh*...if this director and writer does anything else i am on board to watching it. I have next to no complaints. It was simple spectacular...full of depth...a message....character development...music....i can go on and on....and the worst part.....its over....no more....If someone can recommend similar shows in this caliber....please do....i felt i have been watching 70% of low grade anime all these years....
I really hope it continues.....

You may be interested in checking out the Juuni Kokki novels. You can buy the first novel (its already out in the US) and preorder the second novel (sometime early next year). You can also read all of it online. Comparing the novel to the anime you will notice some changes so its like watching Juuni Kokki again but with slight changes (I enjoyed it throughly).
I have not watched the anime series yet, but you may also be interested in "Ghost Hunt." As the series is also based on another novel by Fuyumi Ono (same writing of Juuni Kokki / twelve kingdoms).

Hey thanks for the recommend. I had watched Ghost Hunt series before Kingdom. They had some good arcs going but the end left with more questions than answers. Didn't really like that. Currently watching Ghost Hound and Shion no Ou which aren't so bad....lets see how it goes.

I as many ave also just finished watching TK. Ive been watching anime for a few years now and i take my hat off to TK. Hope they finish what they started. Its like a bleach or Naruto ep when says 'To Be Continued' and then doesnt.

I watched it in 3 days and need more

.It is i must say, in my top 3 anime of all time. Just a big shame how its unfinished. If it would have stopped at ep 39 and no more it would be at my no 1. But since i have now watched 40 - 45 im left with a void. If MB would finish the series to ep 68, i would pay for it. Need some closure.
Anyone know where i can get more TK anime/novel? ty
