Everytime i stop watching 12K especially the latest arc i get the urge to play Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom.

This game is made by Sierra and is a city builder game where you go through 7 campains and build anchint china. You defend against raiders, attack other citys, form alliances, build Kirin (Spelled Quirin in the game) statues for luck, plant gardens, build massive palaces, upgrade housing to make your city prosperous, control trade and basically do all sorts of kingdom building things.

I just thought that if anyone wanted to try being an Emperor they should get this game or atleast try the Demo because the look and the feel reminds me alot of the 12k.

I've been firing up Romance of the Three Kingdoms VI and VII, myself. It's turn-based strategy, wherein you can rebuild Imperial China or declare yourself Emperor using diplomacy and military might.

Buy Kingdoms 8 when it comes out August 12th it will blow RTK7 away.

Emperor: RoTMK was an extreme disappointment everything was fine but the combat aspect was seriously lacking...its purely a builder sim with annoying raiders that are little more then a nuisance.

Unfortunalty all the impression games had lacking combat systems. It was not a design over sight these are building games closer to simcity then they are to command and conquer.

If you want a chinese stratagy game i agree RTK is better.
