I was just wondering what Hankyou's (Keiki's shirei that looks like a dog with funny ears) name means.

The best I can work out is:
han - either pattern or half
kyou - respect

Can anybody who actually knows Japanese help me out?

Is it actually written out anywhere in the series? I don't see it in the anime notes, so unless it's been printed, I wouldn't want to hazard a guess without confirmation from the people who've seen the novels and know which characters were used.

It's actually Hankyo
