yeah welcome...i watched central also although i had watched the fan sub series...what i found is the translation by central is not as good as the fansub one...hope you can find it asap :D since you need to rewatch it more than 1 time inorder to completely understand the stories...

hint* hint* come to "DARK" hehe

and also plz vote at animenfo.com (junnni kokki is at 38 place) and give enough comment otherwise they will delete ur vote...

edit: today central will be showing eps 34. or me eps 34 to 39 are the best eps in youko story. It's a MUST to watch it hehe

Note: The site's far more graphic intensive than it should be. If you have a slow connection like I do, it will take a long time for the page to load, so for quite a while, all you'll see is a couple of banner ads at the top and the title "The Twelve Kingdoms - Episode Guide". If you have the patience to wait for it, though, when it finally shows up the episode guide has a summary of each of the first 35 episodes (and one picture from each), a sentence or two and a picture from each of episodes 36 - 40, but nothing on episodes 41 - 45.

hii I'm a newbie tooo :D
I got to know Juuni Kokki through arts central too :D :D

This has got to be the most unique, meaningful anime that I've ever watched. It changed my views on certain aspects of life.

At the beginning, all was blur until episode 7-tats when I really got hooked. As each episode goes by, the luv grows.. Watching the characters grow and mature from someone negative, detestable to someone brave and bold... made me grew up a little too. :)

Hopefully I'll be able to save enough money to get the vcd/dvd to get a further understanding of this "12 kingdoms".. :)

I <3 Juuni Kokki!

Welcome yuna-ling!

Twelve Kingdoms is truly a remakable and great anime. I'm glad it helped you in your life.

I'm currently saving money to buy the vcd too! Hopefully both of us can get it soon!! :D

Meanwhile, you can also read some of the episode guides provided by Niwashi2 and another that i found to get a clearer picture:

http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/Ep ... season-all
http://www.animetique.com/animeepisode.asp?ID=8

These episode guides however are not complete... but at least they help.

Niwashi has also advice me to read the 12K novel transalations which i think gives a better picture and further understanding of the story. Maybe you should try it too!

Thank you Niwashi and carlanox for your information. It has helped me fill up the missing pieces of the story.

Btw, carlanox what do you mean by this sentence??
hint* hint* come to "DARK" hehe
Sorry, i'm a little bit blur...

The VCD is out in Singapore already. Actually it was on sale before it was shown on Central.

Have bought it and just finished watching it. Spent two days to watch all 45 episodes. Definitely one of the best animes to grace our television screen.

The whole series is divided into 4 boxes, each costing S$29.90. I think you can get it anywhere, from the local neighbourhood VCD store to HMV. I got mine from a neighbourhood store in Bedok, and it came with a 10% discount too.

I plan to buy "A thousand miles of wind, the sky of dawn" first but I doubt it's divided into 4 arcs..

It's the whole series. Basically it's 45 episodes divided into 4 boxes of about 11 episodes each (the first box has 12 episodes). So, the arcs end up being split. If I'm not mistaken, "Great Distance in the Wind, The Sky at Dawn" is split between Box 3 and 4.

The price is a bit steep, and pockets were burned. But hey man, it's worth it

[quickly presses the calculator]

OH MY!!!! If 4 boxes = S$119.60,
then when converted to RM...would be around... RM263.12!!!!!!!!

I think i'd rather wait for it to be out in jb or borrow it from someone instead. :|

Or maybe I should save more money from now on!

Maybe u can buy one box at a time.. ..like mi >_< Then save another few weeks to buy another, no hurry to buy all at once ^^ I can't wait to own the anime once I save enough money. =)

I'm only worried that it gets sold out in the stores when I saved enough money
