Okay, this most likely have been brought up in other threads, but I really want to clarify this. The kingdom of Ryuu is falling. The Emperor has been ruling for 1200 years, but they are starting to become corrupt?

Actually it was 120 years. The translation was wrong. No idea what is going on with the emperor. It sounded almost to me like the provinces are running on their own and doing whatever they want. It also sounds like a lot of the citizens Rakashuun spoke to were in denial of that fact. But still, there were a lot of people at the border of Ryuu waiting to go into En. I wonder how many of those people were escaping Ryuu and how many were from Hou or Tai (arrived in Ryuu via ship and then walking down into En).

Oh, okay. Scared me for a moment. I thought I heard it wrong, then started doubting my Japanese >__<. So, Ryuu is having problems. Just wanted to make sure, because the only other country that has lasted longer than En was not having problems...and when I read Ryuu was 1200 years, I freaked out. :? Okay, I'm good and happy now. Thank you.

Yes, it was rather confusing. Luckly, we have places like here to ask around. So, even in the novel, Ryuu is falling, yes?

I think we'll have to wait for more of Eugene's translation to find out about Ryuu. Assuming it is in the book of course... But still, Shokei has to travel through Ryuu to get to En, then Kei so I think we will learn something no matter what.
