I just bought the DVD and thought it was great. Has anyone else seen it?

I just finished watching it! It was pretty good, some things were left hanging, but the art was fantastic and the story was cute

Stunning animation, charming story.
The big question be: Is blonde Howl or burnette (?) Howl cooler?
Blonde Howl's one cooler persona then his original, IMO.

I like Howl with brown hair. Since it was his natural color. I did love his little tanturm over Sofie reorganizing his potions and the orange color hair. I thought it was funny.

Shanonn> Funnier would be Sophie's expression on what the slime did to his towel...

Hahahaha! I loved this movie. As far as Ghibli films go it's in my top three and I've seen a fair number of their films. (Not all, but quite a few)

I'm not sure whether I like sofie better as the old woman or her at the age she is.

Who else got a kick out of the old witch?

Oh! And the fire! the Fire! He was the best for me! Come on! Fire that picks up logs and eats egg shells, you don't get better than that, lol.

The fire was pretty neat. I liked Sofie as a young person just as much as an old woman. I liked Howl too, when I first saw him, I thought, " Wow, how pretty!" Even if he was egotistical, I think it suited him
