Why do you have to log in to read the forum?

Just wondering.
I mean, sure -- logging in to post makes sense, but just to read?
*scratches head*

I'm continually considering this. Maybe I'll change the policy soon. But so far, the logging in didn't really result in complaints. Just questions like these, hehe.

But on the other hand, the "Remember me" option is awesome. :D

Uh, yeah, why *do* people have to log in to read? It's a great way of discouraging fans, I suppose. We don't use e-mails so it's not to keep spambots out, there's no adult material around to keep children from. I see no purpose to requiring registration.

Yeah, I hope the staff hears us. Doing this would increase the chance of new users to keep this place alive.

And this is why we need some staff. ¬¬

Agreed. If it can open to public without log in, it can attract more fans to this site, my opinion :D

^ To discourage people like that, who just spam and troll, from joining.

Every post you've made has been irrelevant, and you've got some lame spam in your signature.

Of which said post you were referring to I had just deleted...

Err... sorry, now your post doesn't make much sense now....

That and I happened to not come around for a few days and it looks like we have a couple gold-spammer account posting things. Unfortunately, I don't have ban powers here, but I can at least come around every few days to clear out spam posts...
