Just an update, Twelve Kingdoms Part 2 (episodes 15-33) Bluray is to be out Oct 11, 2011 and Part 3 (episodes 34-45) will be out Dec 13, at least in the U.S.

Robert's Anime Corner Store has them here , I'm sure other retail places will have them available too.

Was browsing through my newsfeeds when I spotted that Anime Corner Store has Twelve Kingdoms Part 1: Shadow of the Moon, Sea of Shadow BLURAY (Eps #1-14) available for pre-order for July 26th. I'm guessing other retail places may have it available too.

Unfortunately, it looks like Tokyopop will not be releasing any more novels in The Twelve Kingdom series as Kodansha had pulled back most of their sub-licenses in preparation of launching Kodansha USA (per this TP blog post ). Unfortunate, and I can't find any news about Ono's novel series being ...

Frankly, because this exact message was posted on hundreds of other forums , I would consider this spam. Yet the link looks to be a legit hosting service on the surface, I'd loath to just remove the topic as discussion of this could be interesting. That said, I would feel uncomfortable to deal with ...

I went to my local Barnes and Noble yesterday expecting to just be able to walk in and pick up vol 4 off the shelf (I did that very thing for the previous three volumes) only to find out they hadn't ordered any copies! I guess they've decided they don't want to actively carry ...

Same here, Amazon emailed me yesterday that the book was shipped! Can't wait!

Just a reminder, this book is coming out in a week! I've already preordered mine from Amazon (Mainly as part of a larger order that included the Evangelion 1.11 and Ponyo Blu-rays and other DVDs and books, as I'd normally just pre-order the book locally otherwise).

My point was that when you ask what purpose something something in the twelve kingdoms serves, you have to take Tentei into account. You can't talk about its biological or social function without considering why Tenei wanted it to work that way. Scientifically, trying ...

Actually, the world that Tentei build is much more similar to the real world than dissimilar. You may not be able apply all of scientific knowledge, but it's still fun to apply the scientific process to this world (at least as much as we can). As such, we can only go by what we see, hear, or read ...

That is very good news! I've yet to find an English translation of thelast 12 Kingdom story in yom yom from last year, but in truth, I haven't been trying all that hard. I'd still like to find them!
