wats the novel structure like?

Discuss about anything related to the Twelve Kingdoms, also known as 十二国記, Juuni Kokki or Jūni Kokuki. Talk about the novels, the anime, the writer Fuyumi Ono or illustrator Akihiro Yamada, but beware for spoilers!

Post by Kheve »

does the anime follow the novel structure coz i must admit the anime is pretty like 'lock stock' after youko's ascension to the throne. or is all the different parts talking about tai actually from later volumes of the novel which the studio decided to mix it in. from the link i got for the translation which is doing en, it seems like the there's side stories novel being written in the the world of jk which i wonder if the studios are actually mixing it up themselves. anyway gahhh why isn't 12ktp doing the novel anymore. the site i got is going sooooo slowly. i wanna know wat the later story is about other that youko ruling a country. i need spoilers coz i'm getting a bit frus at the story now. there better be a good story payoff for the pace the anime is going.

Well, if you want sorta spoilers you can check
http://www.12kokuki.com/shouhin/kodansha/x_book.html
It's the goods/books section of the official anime page.
Here you can check the covers and introduction (if you can read japanese)of the novels and get an idea of what happens/will happen in each.

You can always use altavista babelfish translator, it's better than nothing.
Go to altavista, hit "translate" under the search bar, then copy and paste the URL in there.
