i cant play the video can someone help...

Discuss about anything related to the Twelve Kingdoms, also known as 十二国記, Juuni Kokki or Jūni Kokuki. Talk about the novels, the anime, the writer Fuyumi Ono or illustrator Akihiro Yamada, but beware for spoilers!

Do you have the XviD codec installed?

As I always say...have the newest versions of DivX, XviD and OGGDS(OGM) installed at all times, and few movies shall come across you you cannot play...

(And before somebody starts ranting on about .rm and .mov: They both suck!)

Oh, great. Now you've made me remember that RealVideo exists. Painful memories.

It wouldn't be so bad if the players weren't such crap. . .

If you install Defilerpak, you will be able to play just about anything. It's far and away the best filter-package out there, and works with any DirectShow-aware player (including WMP and the beloved ZoomPlayer).

Yes, the Defiler Pack is good, but I still had to go through a long instal/uninstal between Defiler, Nemo and anouther XVID codec until I somehow got it to work :P

Just uninstall Nimo, uninstall DivX, and install Defiler.

<-- Hm, first title I've had to look up to understand. ^^*

The best advice that I can give is:

- uninstall Nimo, Divx, and whatever types of codecs you have installed
- get the latest version of ZoomPlayer (most of the codecs you'll need come with the program)
- install the latest version of ffdshow

I'll guarantee that you won't have any problems anymore.

ZoomPlayer>WMP

zoomplayer is the tits. It's too bad they don't include dvd playing capabilities in the free version any longer.
