Del Rey (Random House) and the 12k Novels -NOT
Word from Media Blasters @ Otakon: Del Rey (Random House) has rights to the novels for US distribution.
Edit 8/20 - correction = MISTAKE. Not licensed. Baka....... ;_; Rest of this thread is moot.

Re: Del Rey (Random House) and the 12k Novels
I'm truly amazed -- I didn't think anyone would jump on them. I'm curious how they'll be done, though.
This is one of the only bits I could find:Zonis wrote:is there an artical you can give us about it?
http://www.animeondvd.com/press/convent ... on2003.phpMedia Blasters tidbits (Saturday, August 9th, 2003 @ 06:51 PM EST): John said that Del Rey has the Twelve Kingdom novels. This is probably through the publishing deal they have with Kodansha. He also said Media Blasters would think about getting the manga relating to the show that they release.
Sorry, there was no published article besides what Media Blaster's rep stated at the Otakon panel (which I heard through a different con staffer since I couldn't go to Otakon ^^;;). And the AoD thing. I imagine an official statement would be made later. If the MB rep was wrong, let's lynch 'em!
