Fried computers...
In other words, Shinkun is overworked and needs a life for awhile. The old computer-is-down excuse.Tentei

Probably in another month honestly. Shinkun's computer fried and he won't begin translation until he gets his comp back. And translation will take another week or two to do as well.

Um...guys...
maybe, just maybe not posting BT-Sites or IRC-Channels in here has nothing to do with affiliation, but with the fact that it is ILLEGAL to spread JK anymore (as it is licensec) and this website does not wanna take the risk of being shut down/does not want to facilitate the search for illegal (yes, illegal!) BT-Sites for potentially law enforcement present?!
After all, you just have to register here and then you can read everything!
Gee, we never thought about that, hm?
(sorry for the sarcastic tone, but I am working in some other boards, where some people also have troubles getting that posting direct links to websites with illegal content is illegal itself...)
Greetz,

Guys...
JK got licensed in the US after Episode 17, as far as I remember. That is when 12ktp became the only group to still fansub it. Ergo: They didn't stop and they most likely won't. As it says in the beginning of this thread, shinkun's computer is toast. If the hardware doesn't work, there can't be fansubs!
And: Most fansub groups I know that fansub stuff in english drop stuff if it gets licensed in the US, regardless whether it is licensed in Canada/Europe/Somewhere Else. Might be because a lot of the fansubbers are american, I don't know.
But usually an available DVD in your region would mean that it is licensed (or doesn't Media Blasters sell in Canada?), or so I think. I am not an expert in that kind of thing, but I would think that at least on the north american continent the series is licensed and therefore illegal to spread, as a Distribution Company has acquired the rights to it.
Now, will Media Blasters do something against us? Highly unlikely. After all, usually a fansubbing group who picks something up after others dropped it because it was licensed is so far ahead in episodes (like, you're fansubbing Ep. 19 when the first five Eps come out on DVD) that they are not viewed as danger (curiously it is that way, even though most groups are also distributing older Episodes). Obviously, a lot of anime distributors think that fansubbing is free advertising for them (and they are right). But do not kid yourself: If they ever want to do something about their licensed anime still being fansubbed, they have all legalities on their side. And that is why there shouldn't be any distribution addresses (no matter the way of distribution) here: Not because it puts the owner of this board and this website in immediate danger, but it _could_.
And above all: It is a forum rule, and it is at least a matter of courtesy to follow board rules.
Okay, Tentei, You may strike me now to speak in Your name *ducks*
