Newbie here! A question about downloading 12K anime...

Hello minna-san!!!

Nice to meet you! My name is Kaori Miki and i'm a chilean new fan of this series. A week ago I saw a çn advertisement related to this series in the webpage of the japanese store Animaxis and i loved the character design so i've been trying to learn about it since then. ^_^ That's how i got here! ^_^ I'm a 22 years old japanese/english/spanish translation and i really love manga, anime and voice actors and... Well. I guess i'm becoming quite a fan of this great series. ^_^

Of course, now i'm trying to get something related to it: the anime, novels, translations... Whatever! But i haven't had too much luck. I searched for the anime episodes in Bittorrent (which is the best way for me to download them since i'm a 56 kbps user and i can't be online thew whole day/night) but i've only found episodes 30, 31, 32 and 33 in that service. And the others?? T__T I went to the 12K - Translation Project channel on IRC but almost nobody had the first episodes to download and the few one that had them, had minimun CPS in their fservs or didn't have open slots to download/queue. T_T And, besides, IRC isn't good for me because sometime my connection dies and, when i come back to the channel, i have to queue again and i lose everything i've downloaded at that point! T_______T So i'm getting a little bit desperate. That's why i'm here. Can someoone tell me where could i find the 29 first episodes of this series to download in a better place than IRC? Could be Bittorrent, Direct Connect (if it's a hub that doesn't demand too much share since i can only share 3 GB), Winmx or even Kaaza, if there's nothing else... But there's someway i could get them?? I really, *really* want to see this series and i'm willing to try my best to download it (and to kill my connection trying it, if necessary!) but i need a little bit of help. ^_^ There's someone here who could provide me this help? THAN YOU VERY MUCH, in advance. ^_^

I had the same problem for the first 20 eps. I used eMule to download them. Did you try that? Or is a modem no good for it?

I know that all files are flowting around there.

yeah, it was the illustrations that drove me and kept me to this series too ^^

anyways, I'm willing to help :)
do you mind downloading via ftp?
it's most likely you'll be the only one on my server :) so you're free to download it as fast/slow as your modem can handle ^^

if you don't mind it, then private message me in the 12ktp channel. my nick is TenAJs. you can tell me what episodes you're missing and I'll give you the ftp info.

There are servers in #12ktp with the full series, and I also have the whole thing for download in a certain anime channel on EFnet ^^

i think suprnova.org has almost all the episodes
it uses bittorrent client but the downloadrate is not so good.

think I saw the first 26 eps at a certain place, if you google a bit for a box of torrents I'm sure you'll find it ^_^

Forgive my dumbness, but I was wondering why the subtitle of the Forum reads "No IRC, FTP, or Distribution Addies"?

I believe it is because Twelve Kingdoms the anime has been licensed by Media-Blasters thus making it illegal to distribute copies of the anime. 12KTP could get it trouble if it was found that people were publicly displaying how to illegally obtain a licensed product. Hence the no public links on how to get the episodes. Keep that stuff to PMs, or better yet, buy the DVDs
