12K DVD Goof

Post by Xanthe »

For anyone who has bought the DVDs, take a look at the art on the discs. A great duplication of the map of the twelve kingdoms, no? Notice anything a little off? If you look carefuly you'll see that compared to the text printed on the DVD, the map has been rotated a full 180 degrees placing a black kirin in Ren instead of Tai! GG, Media-Blasters, but we still forgive you!

Nice notice.... If that was the only mistake I would be happy. Still pretty disappointed with them after their mono sound on disc 1.

Unfortunately I don't have volume 1, yet. The store didn't have it when I bought the others, so I'll have to wait for it to come from Amazon.com along with volume 5 next week :D I've heard about the mono issue, so I guess I'll just have to bite on that one, too.

I believe they went ahead and fixed the mono issue on volume 1. I remember someone mentioning that the new releases of volume 1 will be stereo. Not too sure on that bit, but you can always hope for it. ^__^

Mono?? Nooo! And I just bought all five first disks (one pre order of course) instead of waiting for a fixed release. Darn. Had I only known... Oh well - one can always buy the second version too - if the problem gets fixed, and support 12kokki in the process :)

Kind of related

This has nothing to do with the DVD, but on the 2nd DVD. An episode before we met Shouryu, Rakushun was holding a white sheet of paper. The camera faced away from him and then when the camera came back to Rakushun the paper was now blue. I'm not sure if it's my DVD player or not but several other people noticed it too.

Drifterx do you have any links to any information about the exchange program?

Saw the white paper turn blue and disappear in the next shot.
