Fanart -- Taiki, Gyousan, Rissa for TKAS (done)

Aiee. It seems that no one on dev-art seems to know about 12 Kingdoms.
Here's the latest piece, still in progress. The flowers... have something to do with where I am in the translations of the novels. But I say that, assuming people actually care about stuff like that ^_^.

That disappoints me, as well Unfortunately my skill as an artist is lacking. At some point I want to at least put together a wallpaper, but that would involve having time to work on it. Maybe in another month or so... Nice work though!

The colors seem to be slightly smeared. Did you use a paint brush to color it?

While i understand the Gyousan always looks stern you might want to give Rissa a little more warmth. Currently she looks irritated by Taiki not very fawnd of him.

Thanks -- We must be reading the same translations. They were specifically mentioned to be red and yellow, although it's not a strict interpretation since he gave it to her in her new quarters.

Yeah - used pastels to color most of the picture and it's somewhere between cel and painted style. I am kind of undecided which way to go on it, but even so -- not a big believer in the strict cel style. ^_^

Oh i see Gyuo and Taiki are existing in her memory, so she is not present with them. Ok that makes more sense now. hmmm you might want to make it more obvious.

I like the improvement in the color it now looks like style and painted not smeared as the last one was.

I think by putting Risai outside the frame of the picture makes it fairly obvious. Excellent work

I really like that art. I hope I could draw like that. (lol) Thats really cool how Risai is in colour and Taiki and Gyousou is black and white. Keep up the good work!
