On the positive side of the ANN release...

I replayed my Vol one dvd and didnt notice any difference, what was in mono?

Listen to the creditless opening and pay attention to the places where the sound moves to the left or right (it can be subtle in some parts). Now go play the opening from one of the episodes. That directionality is gone. It doesn't make the sound quality much worse, but it loses the three-dimensioanl aspect of it.

I looked up the releases of 4 and 5 volumes all of which are listed as having mono audio... man shit like that pises me off.

No, I haven't heard anymore yet. Of course, I haven't been actively seaching for it recently, either. Maybe I should do that...
