Account activation

Post by Niwashi2 »

Several points:

1) I need my original account (username: Niwashi) activated.

2) The profile page should have a warning that making changes to your profile will deactivate your account, and provide a way of canceling the changes if you don't want to deactivate it. I only got the account deactivation warning after it was already done and I was locked out of being able to fix it.

3) Although I don't really see why any of these forums requires being logged in to read them, I can accept it for most of them. But the "Forum Problems" forum really needs to allow people to both read and post without being logged in. When the problem is "I can't get my login to work", requiring the person to be logged in before posting that problem isn't a very reasonable requirement. I ended up having to register a second name just to post this problem from. (By the way, once my original profile is fixed, I'll want this one removed.)
