This is my new #2 favorite anime (after 12 Kingdoms of course). It's only recently been released on DVD so apparently not many people have seen it. If you get a chance it's an amazing story, and has some really cute guys in it

The premise is that, 1000 years ago Hikaro fails to stop evil cute guy Monsairaku from destroying Kyoto so now, 1000 years later she is reincarnated and a penetant Monsairaku (who we never learn much about - especially why he is still alive after 1000 years) helps her to rectify the wrongs and return things to the way they should be. So - the first 3 dvd's take place 1000 years ago, and the last 3 DVD's take place today.

I've bought the first four DVDs in January. I liked the first three, but I didn't like what they did to Hiroko's character in modern time. I liked her better in ancient Japan. I didn't buy the rest. I really enjoyed the flute music in the first three DVDS.

In some ways I like the Tokyo arc better than the Kyoto arc. Possibly because Monsairaku is more mysterious. I really wish they had gone into more depth with the characters and situation, though. Not only do we not know how they got together, but I really find it hard to believe that Hikuro would be that clueless about the fact that Tsuna is head over heels for her
