Where is the 12 kingdoms headed?

We'll i'vebeen wondering is this a world with stories about different kingdoms and their rulers or is it a story that will eventually tie in with all the previous kingdoms written about and the world itself
I was thinking about this because they say when black kirin is born something beauitful will happen to the world so are the novels written directing the 12 kingdoms to a final story?
Or is it just stories that take place in one world?

Ah, the story of the black kirin ... Its more of a 'back kirin' is special, cause the one before Tai-Ki (?) had a very long, and great reign (immpression from the conversation)

But the Black Kirin ended back up in japan with seemingly little memory? It didnt say what happened to the King Tai? Does it go on in the novels? I would have been more statisfied if they would have concluded that in b4 ep 45.

Taiki will return to JK with the help of Kei-O after being beg by Risai. If you can read chinese or japanese, then you should be able to read the follow up stories. But i don;t want to spoilt the story for you and you better read it yourself.

The complete English translation however i do not have any idea where to find. Try asking some of the people or put up a new thread.

The story of Taiki is very sad and a lot of things happen before he returns. But bare in mind the story is still incomplete, the story only ended with Taiki and Risai return to Tai alone to find Tai-O.
