Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. Choose!

Post by fragile_bloom »

Hi, I saw this in one of Inuyasha's fansites and I've been tempted to start such a thread here for a looong time. I finally have enough courage to start the thread. Who would you choose????

My choice is Sesshomaru! I don't know why! :o

one of the main reasons I watched Inuyasha was for Sesshoumaru.

.... that feels like so long ago.

Heh heh, definetly Sesshomaru. Inu Yasha's cool 'n all but Fluffy's way better. Plus I seem to be alot better at doinf Sesshomaru fanart as opposed to IY...

yippy! Now I know I'm not weird. I was feeling worried when I realised I am watching Inuyasha for Sesshomaru!

Sesshy has charisma, the "X" factor that draws fans to himself. I like the art work and music. I like the way Sesshy is presented.

Sesshy reminds me of Keiki who is cold, reserved, usually speechless and formal. But you know......Sesshy is "Lord" Sesshomaru while Keiki sees himself as a servant to the queen and behaves like a servant. Perhaps, if the artist and author of the 12 Kingdoms had made Keiki a little bit more like Sesshy, I would like Keiki better. Right now, I still find Keiki creepy, he is too quiet and not as cool as Sesshy. Don't you think it was possible to have made Keiki more like Sesshy, with a bit more charisma? I think Keiki's long black outfit gives a creepy feeling to him.

I read this somewhere, a fan wrote in another forum:
Inuysha is cute as a human, cuter as half demon but in all his forms, Sesshomaru is the cutest.

Definitely Sesshoumaru. Hands down. Inuyasha doesn't even begin to compare.

Well, I think his heart belongs to Kagura, and Sara, and that woman from the Panther Demon tribe. Not to mention the "custody battle" he and Kagura had over Rin  Sounds like he has all kinds of girl problems.. Unlike Inuyasha who has a Kagome and a dead woman after him, and, well, actually it sounds like both brothers have girl trouble... Makes you wonder what their father was like

Rumiko Takahashi draws very well. Sesshomaru has girl problems for sure, just look at the fanatism around him. I wonder why Sesshomaru is drawn more beautiful than Inuyasha and their father actually looks like Sesshomaru. He appears only for a short bit in the series and in movie 3.

I also think Sesshy loves Kagura but she dies (not sure) because Naraku killed her. I cannot imagine Sesshy with the panther demoness because she's a cat. :? I don't think Sesshomaru loves Sara, he did not recognise her and did not attempt to revive her with the tenseiga. In fact, after Sara died, Sesshy returned to Rin and the producers played a beautiful piece of background music as they continued their journey. I tracked and hunted that piece of music and found out it is entitled "Rin and Sesshomaru", composed for the flute in Inuyasha OST 2 No 13. Very beautiful piece of music. Oddly, I heard this piece of music played only once in the 167 episodes. It is played after the death of Sara when Sesshomaru moved on with Rin.

Is Sara in the cat demon tribe? I don't remember her, could you tell me around what episode she's in? Also with the Kagura/Sesshoumaru thing, I don't believe that Sesshoumaru likes her, but that she like him. I actually don't see any love relationships for him, he just doesn't seem like that kind of character.

I saw that episode with Sara recently - I don't think he ever actually saw her, but he remembered hearing the flute. At the end, after she turned to dust he puts her flute in the dust pile and tells her that she can play for him all she wants in the afterlife and walks away. Inuyasha and company are watching and extremely puzzled at his behaviour. That was a good scene too.

The Panther woman - I was just teasing :D But they would make a good couple  She'd be high on catnip - he would be laying on the floor with his muzzle in a shoe and Rin would be dancing around around with Jaken picking flowers. Happy times

Yeah - he has a soft spot for Rin... My favorite bit was after he saved her from the exorcists who refused to let her live with a demon. Anyway, she kneels in front of a grave and asks Sesshomaru to remember her when she is dead and he actually had a shocked reaction, then composed himself and sayed something like "how silly". He seemed happy though... They have a still watercolor painting as the last image on that episode that is excellent - Sesshomaru is walking with Rin and Jaken running behind. There are some excellent artists in anime and it's too cool to see what they can do.

That's one of my favorite episodes! Ah, I've watched it so many times and giggled with joy every time. It's so cute to see that he cares for Rin as a father figure :D

Sara appears in an episode between 130-135, I think (not sure) it is episode 134, shortly after the Band of 7. I like her fluting, so sad that the sound pierces the listener's heart.

I like episode 162 but my favourite is still the panther demon episode. I laugh at it, it's like a cat-dog fight episode, a bit unfair to the cats though. Sesshy with a cat? hihi, torturing a dog!

I like all the scenes when Inuyasha visits Kagome in modern Japan and I like Naraku.

sesshoumaru - much more calm, self control than inuyasha, but too cold
he's the one for you if you like powerful, clever guys.

inuyasha- if you are the kind who goes for guy who are sweet and funny

i think a guy in between their personalities would be good
