Youma vs. youju

What's the difference? I'd guess youju are less intelligent (but Jakko the hiso?) and more tameable. I see the terms, and Youko's second novel includes a line about "youma and other you-beasts", along with a claim that touki weapons are needed to hurt a "wizard".

Funny that the same question was asked in the book "The Aspired Wings" as well. I remember briefly that the answer is that no one actually knows the difference, except for the fact that one can often tame a youju but never a youma (youmas will die once they are caught). Another thing is that when a country goes towards the destruction youmas will appear, while youjus appears in the opposite case.
