what about the seires left you unfufilled?

Discuss about anything related to the Twelve Kingdoms, also known as 十二国記, Juuni Kokki or Jūni Kokuki. Talk about the novels, the anime, the writer Fuyumi Ono or illustrator Akihiro Yamada, but beware for spoilers!

I was disipointed in the lack of depth they went into when covering Taiki, I mean they made me love him and then left me hanging.

I can't say I had that problem because I was warned that the anime was not finished, so I enjoyed it the way it was. And I was not that curious to find out what happened to Taiki, because at least they gave us a clue where he was, so you were just suppose to fill in the blank points, like how he got there. But how about Gyousou? About him really there is no clue, not even written one to where he might be "now".

The fact the anime was nto complete...as I judge it better than the novels, as you can see by Asano and Shokou...I really want to know more about Sai, Kyou, Ryu and Sou, for example...and I would like more Shoryu. <_<

One of the novel translations gave a hint that his belt buckle was found in a box of ores sent to another kingdom,

It's midway through this section of the novel, the one that continues past where the anime ended.
