I'm not sure if it's my server but it seems that lately I can't access www.otyaku.com

I've managed to get onto the site before but does anyone else have any problems with it?

I can't enter Otyaku either.

Before that I've noticed that this site was without any movements for a while. No update for more than a month. Hope the site's not dead... It was really a good site.

I think the domain expired a week or two ago. Wonder if it's going to get renewed.

Here is The Shore at Twilight, The Sky at Daybreak book 1:

http://mindstalk.net/jk/Books/animeObse ... S_menu.htm

Unfortunately, I can't track down book 2 as of yet. I don't think it was ever up on Otyaku.

Also, Eugene Woodbury's translation of Kaze no Banri isn't ongoing, it's complete. :)

And thanks to Aiffe's post I was able to re-find Otyaku's translation of the short story "Toei" from Kasho no Yume:

Yeah, I'm glad I sucked down all the translations I found, when I did. Pity I missed what there was of part two of TKAS, which was hiding on Wordpress. But someone posted to http://community.livejournal.com/juuni_kokki/49774.html that they found it, at http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=d6r72c9_2djz6xh

I should bestir myself to making an actual page for my copies.

Thank you all so very much for posting the links the translated pages. Would any of you happen to know where I can get the rest of the The Shore at Twilight? I'm a new fan of Twelve Kingdoms and just can't get enough of it.

Most likely in March 2009. Tokyopop has it planned on a once-a-year schedule, and I haven't heard if they changed that.

Guys, should I check the translations of the novels which weren't animated, or should I still have hope and wait? :?

Unfortunately, it looks like Tokyopop will not be releasing any more novels in The Twelve Kingdom series as Kodansha had pulled back most of their sub-licenses in preparation of launching Kodansha USA (per this TP blog post). Unfortunate, and I can't find any news about Ono's novel series being continued or even restarted in the U.S. The closest contact I could found seems to be for "Kodansha America, LLC" on this page, but I'm not sure if that's the right contact. I did send out an email to them anyways inquiring about the series; I'll update here if I get a response.

hello

Post by hisenbr »

Well, this is my 1st post here. At least first in a long time, since I haven't been here in ages.

I was so sad, almost depressed, to hear about the delay in printing the remaining novels in English. I sent Kodansha USA messages via facebook and also sent them an email, but couldn't get through to the right person.

I really hope we get a date soon. Even a "book 5 will be out in 3 years" is better than this uncertainty.

I started reading the unofficial translation of book 6 but I will feel like KILLING myself when I get to the last page translated and not able to read any further. lol

Well, I'll try not to be a lurker and be around here more often.

bye!
