There isn't enough material right now. It would be of much better merrit for people to start sending Fuyumi Ono letters expressing interest in the series than it would be to start asking Studio Pierrot to continue production of something that really only has a little bit of remaining source material.
I say this because I've seen what Studio Pierrot does when it runs out of source material. Naruto and Bleach ring any bells to anyone?
