you may not be able to run a kingdom, but you can feed someone today! www.wfp.org/
I have watched everything of The Twelve Kingdoms I can find, more than once. But I'm not an expert on the subject, and I don't know if I have caught up with all of it. Are there any films after Shoryu puts down the insurrection in En? I'm not yet familiar with the books.
What about other, similar films? Does anyone have anything to recommend?

Hi, fellow The 12 Kingdoms fans and nice to meet you all!
I'm Reil and an addict of this anime and its story.
I first saw this anime in our national channel, here in PH.
I remember very well, the channel is GMA 5.
I was only 11 yrs. old at that time.
hahahaha, nostalgia.
Unfortunately, I did not completed watching this series before.
The part which I stopped is about Taiki's Story.
I liked this before because of Rankas and Rakushun whom I call the cute rat there.
Now, that I have completed watching this, I'm so happy because its story is so extraordinary and unforgettable, I think. Then it was my favorite anime.
God bless all!

I'm new to this forum and 12K fandom as well. I'm ashamed to admit it took a long time for an old friend to convince me to watch this series (she had to woo me with the music first!), but now that I've seen it, I am completely in love with the world and the characters. I haven't read the novels yet, but I'm working on that.
I can only hope there is a chance that the anime will continue, and even if Ono-sensei didn't write a happy ending for Taiki's story, I still wish for one with all my heart! <3
