That this site needs a tighter account creating security system to keep out spammers, or an active moderator or something. I know this site is old, but half the first page is spam. Most forums have a rule that you can't create a topic without having a minimum number of posts, or time spent on the forums.

Delete this thread when someone gets around to deleting all the spam that's filling up the forums, thanks.

It's what I get for not checking here for a week. I try to check every week or two at least, but I only have mod powers to edit and delete posts here. I'll leave this topic for a bit until it can be moved to an appropriate forum or I delete it.

I have a suggestion: make it so all accounts have to be approved by admins or mods. Maybe this can cut the spam.

Sooo tempting to write a bot that will counter the spam-bot. Yes, I could write one, but it just seems like a PITA to have to do so...
