Differences between the novel and anime
Sorry for being really late, I hope there are still a lot of JK fans still active in this forum. Just finished watching the series last week, love this anime so much that I fear that nothing will ever come close. Before I watched JK, I was addicted to FMA, Bleach, D-gray man, eyeshield 21 and was also a "narutard" hehehe. Everything pales in comparison to JK, this is the only anime that I watched that got me hooked in so much since elfen lied. I just hope they continue the story.

The reason being is that it was said to visually show (in an anime series) Yoko's character transformation it was needed for people to be around her to go through this transformation (this is where Yuka and Asano was used). To show the transformation through a novel has alot to do with imagination and therfore doesn't have to be as fast paced compared to an anime (well really any motion picture).Hikoto wrote:And apparently in the novel, Yoko went to an all girls' school...which means that Asano didn't even exist, much less for his involvement on the other side. But in the end, the anime turned out great with Asano, so it's actually pretty exciting to see what the novel has installed. (:
